How rescue works at WPA
From a Single Report to a Coordinated Response
Animals in distress are often found by ordinary citizens who don't know who to contact or what happens next. WPA's rescue program exists to close that gap — turning a single report into a coordinated, trackable response.
Once a case is reported, it is routed to the nearest available volunteer or partner clinic, with status updates recorded at every stage so reporters and coordinators can see progress in real time.
Rescue doesn't end at pickup — every case is followed through treatment, rehabilitation, and, where appropriate, transition into the adoption program.

Treatment & Rehabilitation
